ERIC MCCONAGHY

As a founding partner and Chairman of EdgeLine, Eric has a comprehensive knowledge of real estate development through four+ decades of hands-on experience in zoning, land acquisition, environmental analysis, project funding, land and building design, and construction management.

After leaving the Marine Corps and graduating from college with a degree in accounting, Eric worked briefly for a CPA firm before going back to school to receive a Master’s Degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Development. He joined Gilbane Properties where he had the opportunity to work for a variety of client and project types. There, he led the development of a suburban office park, managing the sale of corporate real estate and providing the financial analysis used by management for new project development, including speculative high-rise office and build-to-suit for corporate clients.

Creating a strong team with the right vision and developing a process that is custom-tailored to the project and players requires diligence, study, conflict resolution, evaluation, decisiveness, and understanding both the big picture and the details. Eric exudes these traits and loves managing the creative team while executing a plan that produces a profit for his clients.
